A tour of the Commander Aircraft facility was also included. By late afternoon the wind had died down, so the radio controlled airplanes took flight. Here, some of the club members are preparing to get started.

Even a rabbit . . . . . . and a bird were interested. Each troop prepared an egg in a plastic bottle. The model airplanes carried the bottles aloft and dropped them from about 75 feet. Here the scouts anxiously await for their bottle's turn. A plane works to reach the proper height. A bottle is released! (If I were the egg inside, I'd be a bit nervous right now!)
